Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the procurement process within the organization by managing the purchasing of goods and services, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records of transactions.
- The role involves communication with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials for operations.
- The Purchasing Coordinator will work closely with the Purchasing Manager to execute purchasing strategies and help optimize cost-efficiency.
- Process and manage purchase orders (POs) for goods and services in line with business needs.
- Track the status of orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or delays promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure the availability of required materials while minimizing overstock.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage stock levels and ensure that materials are received and stored properly.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchasing activities, supplier agreements, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, including inventory levels, costs, and supplier performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role (2+ years preferred).
- Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Available for administrative shift (8am to 5pm)
