- Provide technical engineering support to manufacturing operations by troubleshooting process, equipment, and system issues in a regulated environment.
- Serve as a technical resource during cross-functional investigations and daily operational activities, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and compliance requirements are met.
- Monitor manufacturing performance, identify opportunities for process improvements, and recommend solutions to operational challenges. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Process Development, Utilities, Facilities, Quality Assurance, and Validation teams to implement process modifications, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the execution of quality and manufacturing systems, including deviations, equipment qualifications, process validations, procedural updates, training activities, and new product introductions.
- Analyze operational data, interpret results, and apply engineering principles to support troubleshooting efforts, process optimization, capital projects, and system enhancements.
- Provide support for 24/7 manufacturing operations, including non-standard shifts, extended hours, nights, weekends, and business-critical operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, and/or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience in equipment and process troubleshooting within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology manufacturing processes and GMP production operations.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and technical writing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to provide technical engineering support to daily manufacturing operations through troubleshooting, process optimization, equipment upgrades, replacements, and process modifications.
- Understanding of compliance requirements, including corporate policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Availability to support non-standard manufacturing schedules, including nights, weekends, and extended shifts as required.
